In July 2019, I expanded my career and opened OCD Accounting Services.  My passion, desire, and love for helping entrepreneurs understand their businesses and make informed financial decisions made this a natural transition.

 

Practicing in both public and private accounting for over 20 years, my experience expands many industries and sectors including legal, dental, construction, casinos, and food & beverage. I am a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and have more than two decades of payroll tax, sales and use tax, and business startup experience. I have worked with clients in nearly all 50 states and have most recently become an Enrolled Agent with the IRS so I can provide both accounting and tax services.

 

I enjoy working closely with clients, as they are always more than just a business name to me. I thrive on the challenge of piecing together all the information, whether messy or clean, to create a meaningful set of reports so informed business decisions can be made. Additionally, I enjoy being able to provide guidance, service, and advice to all my clients so they can focus on their areas of interest, especially making money.

When I am not working hard for my clients, I spend time with family and friends. Gardening, playing sports with my son, relaxing with my cats and dogs, and cooking are just a few of my passions. In 2018, our family moved from Denver, Colorado to Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, and we absolutely love it here! As a mom of four and a wife, I appreciate the value of time. Knowing the work I do can help my clients spend more time with their families and less time worrying about their accounting or tax issues is why I love what I do.
